    This is one form of a Compulsory Supervision Order but means that a child will be removed from their home to live in a Children's home, Foster home or a residential school for their protection and welfare. For example, someone may be removed from their home if they have been a victim of abuse, beyond parental control or are unsafe

    This is another form of a Compulsory Supervision Order but means that a child is able to live at home with their parents or carers but that they will face supervision from a social worker who will come and visit. For example, someone who has been truanting from school may face regular visits from a social worker to discuss and monitor their attendance.
