Writing

• Hallo, ich heiße Zara und ich bin fünfzehn Jahre alt. 


  Hello, I’m called Zara and I’m 15 years old.
• Im Oktober werde ich sechzehn.


  In October I'll be 16.
• Ich komme aus Schottland und ich wohne in einer kleinen Stadt namens Crieff.


  I come from Scotland and I live in a small town called Crieff.
• Ich besuche eine kleine Privatschule, die Morrison’s Academy heißt, und gehe in die elfte Klasse. 


  I attend a Private school which is called Morrisons Academy,  and am in my 11th year.
• Ich würde sagen, dass ich meine Schule mag, weil die Lehrer freundlich sind und es viele gut AGs gibt.


  I would say I like my school because the teachers are friendly and there are lots of good co-curriculars.
• Letztes Jahr war ich im Schul-Chor und im Hockey-Team.


  Last year i was in the school choir and Hockey-Team.
• Mein Lieblingsfach ist English, denn es ist interessant und sehr lustig.


  My favourite subject is English because it is interesting and very funny.
• In Deutsch und Geschichte

  habe ich auch gute Noten.


  I also have good grades in German and history.
• Dieses Jahr werde ich acht National 5 Prüfungen machen.


  This year i am doing 8 national 5 exams.
• Ich würde sagen, dass ich sehr freundlich und interessant bin.


  I would say that I’m friendly and interesting.
• Deshalb kann ich gut im Team und mit Kindern arbeiten.


  That’s why i am good in a team and with kids.
• Ich kann gut Deutsch sprechen und lerne seit vier Jahren Deutsch.


  I can speak good German and have been learning German for 4 years.
• Außerdem habe ich exzellente Schreib-Kenntnisse.


  Besides I have excellent writing skills.
• Ich denke, ich bin der perfekte Kandidat, weil ich auch interessant und motiviert bin.


  I think I am the perfect candidate because i am also interesting and motivated.
• Letztes Jahr hatte ich einen Nebenjob als Elf in einem Postamt.


  Last year I had a part time job as an elf in a post office.
• Ich musste die Briefe schreiben und ich durfte die Kunden bedienen.


  I had to write letters and was allowed to serve the customers.
• Das war sehr interessant, aber auch ziemlich stressig!


  That was very interesting but also quite stressful.
• Nächstes Jahr will ich ein Praktikum als Lehrerin machen. 


  Next year I want to practise as a teacher
• Ich möchte gerne in einer Schule arbeiten.


  I would like to work in a school.
• Das wäre mein Traum!


  That would be my dream.
