They believe that the creation story happened literally.

That the creation story is a sacred story told to help humans understand that God bought all to existence. They believe the reality of God as a cause or creator.

Human beings have been given intelligence , so they can find their way to God who created them.

Human beings have the ability to do the right or the wrong thing.

Genesis 3 when Adam and Eve misused their free will and instead decided to disobey God and eat from the tree of knowledge
What does "Genesis 3" teach about sin?
That when you sin it comes with consequences and life will become harder for you. And example of this is when Adam and Eve were chucked out of the garden of Eden.

That if you seen repent and don't cover it up so you can make amends with God.
What does being able "to relate to God" mean?
As we are made in the image of God , we are entitled to have a relationship with him.
What was the end goal for God creating human beings?
After death to spend eternal life with God
What does being able "to give and receive love" mean?
Because we are made in the image and likeness of God we can give and receive love as "God is love". Humans happiness can only come through love

Since we are made in the image and likeness of God we should respect and obey our creator.
How can we obey and respect our creator?
Through serving him and receiving love, as he does
What happened to Adam and Eve when they disobeyed God?
They got punished and was kicked out of the garden of eden
What does stewardship mean?
The responsibility to care for the earth
What does dominion mean?
The responsibility to help rule some of creation
Why did God grant humans dominion?
God did this because God gifted humans the ability to reason and have free will so he trusts that we will rule with consideration and compassion
What is a secular view of stewardship?
They believe that God did not grant us the responsibility to be stewards of the earth, however, they believe humans have moral responsibility to care for the earth.
