Cut five potato cylinders of the same dimensions (lxwxh) about 3cm length
Measure and record the mass of each potato cylinder
Measure out 10cm3 of each of the sugar solutions and place into a labelled boiling tube
Measure out 10cm3 of the distilled water into another boiling tube
Add one potato piece to each tube and cover w foil
Leave them for the same amount of time
Remove cylinders and blot them dry w paper towels
Re measure the length and mass of each cylinder
