  • found in neck
  • produces thyroxine
  • regulates rate if metabolism, heart rate and temperature
• ovaries:

  • found in females
  • produces oestrogen - involved in menstrual cycle
• adrenal gland:

  • found ontop of kidneys
  • produces adrenaline - fight or flight
• testes:

  • found in males
  • produces testosterone - controles puberty and sperm production\
• pancreas:

  • produces insulin - regulates glucose

  • acts for short time
  • act on precise areas
