  • Rural / Urban
    This classification is basically geographical in nature. Rural areas are separate and away from the influence of large cities and towns. while urban areas are called cities and towns
  • Formal / Informal
    Formal communities engage in joint activities and discussions, help each other, and share information with each other. Informal communities consist of a set of personal relations, social networks, common interest, and emotional sources of motivation.
  • Local / global
    Refers to the spatializied networks of social networks. The challenge is to be cognizant of social realities, and regard local culture in the advent of globalization.
  • Physical / Virtual
    Physical space refers to the unlimited three-dimensional, expanses in which materials are located. Virtual social spaces referred to the non-physical space is created by the development of technology.
