Structure of DNA

• DNA is a polymer of molecules called nucleotides
• in DNA the phosphate group and sugar molecule stay the same but there are 4 bases
• 4 bases


  Adenine, Guanine, Thymine, Cytosine
• DNA contains 4 nucleotides
• the strands are complementary : Adenine and Thymine, Guanine and Cytosine
