  • selective attention - most important sense chosen and rest is discarded
• decision making:

  • choosing appropiate response from memory
  • skills less than 60 seconds is from short term memory
  • stored and reherased skills come from long term memory
• output:

  • chosen decision sent to muscles to carry out movement
• feedback:

  • success of action
  • may affect how skill performed in future
  • intrinsic - feeling
  • extrinstic - reaction of audience/coach
