  • Prose is a style that does not follow a structure of rhyming or meter.
  • Prose comes from the Latin word "Prosa Oratio."
  • Prosa Oratio means "straightforward."
  • Poetry is a type of literature or artistic writing that attempts to stir a reader's imagination or emotions.
  • Poetry comes from the Greek word, "Poeisis," which means "making."
