hydrological cycle

• 1. water is evaporated from the sea , when moist air rises the temperatures drop causing condensation to form clouds
• 2. advection moves clouds inland and precipitation occurs such as rain or snow , amount and duration effect level of water in the system
• 3. water is then stored in lakes or as glaciers on the surface or transported back to the sea by overland flow
• 4. water that has fallen on vegetation can move back into the atmosphere by evapotranspiration
• 5. water thats fallen on earths surface either moves underground through infiltration and flow back to oceans as through flow or moves further underground by percolation
• 6. here water is stored as ground water or moves back to the oceans as groundwater flow
