  • How do you carry out a test cross?
    Cross an unknown plant with a recessive trait plant (has to be homozygous), if any recessive traits come out in the phenotype, the unknown plant has to be heterozygous

    Not one allele is dominant over the other- both alleles are represented by a capital letter
