• Method

  1. Attach a metal bar to a clamp stand

  • Clamp bar in the middle

  1. Attach glass beads using wax at regular intervals to one side of the bar

  • Every 3cm

  1. Heat the other side of the bar using a bunsen burner

  • as thermal energy is conducted through the bar, wax will melt and the beads will fall off the bar
