Work Done

• • When energy is transferred from one object to another, work is done on the object

  --> e.g. to make an object move, a force needs to act on the object
• • The energy transferred to an object and the work done on that object are equal to each other

  --> measured in joules (J)

  W= F*S W= Work Done (Joules, J)

  F= Force (Newtons, N)

  S= distance (Meters, M)

  • Amount of work done (w) depends on size of force (f) appalied to it & distance (s) moved
