• Distance (d) denotes the length of the path taken by a moving object.
• Distance is a scalar quantity, solely takes into account.
• Distance measuring the path or how far traveled along the whole path in anyway or turned.
• Displacement is the shortest path between the initial and final position.
• Displacement is a vector quantity, not only encompasses magnitude, but also considers the direction of the movement.
• Displacement also includes how far you moved and the the direction you moved in.
