  • Recruitment = the process of finding and selecting suitable candidates for a job.
  • Internal recruitment = hiring employees from within the company.
  • External recruitment = hiring employees who are not currently employed by the organization.
  • Costs of recruitment = time, money, effort, stress, and loss of productivity.
  • Induction training = the process through which employees adjust or acclimatise to their new jobs and working environment.
  • On the job training = training that takes place on the job, rather than in a classroom.
  • Off the Job training = training that takes place outside the workplace, such as a course or a workshop
