electrical power

Cards (4)

  • POWER is the rate at which energy is transferred or converted.
    • In an electrical circuit, POWER is calculated as the product of potential difference & current.
  • cost is higher as more energy is used per second
  • 19.6 = I^2 x 1.60
    • I^2 = 19.6 / 1.60
    • I = 3.5A
    • current through battery = 3.5 x 4 = 14A
    • Large has 5 times as many charges & only twice the mass as the compact.
    • although large has half the number of charges than high capacity, it only has third the mass
