FICTION - something invented by the imagination or feigned.
NON FICTION - informative writings made up of factual.
DRAMA - a play in literature and a playwright composes it.
OPERA - theatre and music were in perfect harmony, and the actors displayed exceptional acting and singing skills.
PANTOMINE - there were composed keeping the theme of folk tales talks as the primary element, and symbolism occupied a prominent position.
CREATIVE DRAMA - it is the modern version of drama, which was popularized mostly by youngster, processing innate acting skills.

TRAGEDY - This is the oldest form of drama that means to present tragic emotions on the stage.
COMEDY - This has a happy ending, and the plot is crafted humorously.
FARCE - often humorous but depends on the character’s physical appearance and silly jokes rather than the storyline.
TRAGICOMEDY - a blend of comedy and tragedy that is so complex and may achieve extreme ends of either of the two.
MUSICAL - the lines are sung, but the musical employs dialogues infused with music performances.
MELODRAMA - a profound story told seriously.

FANTASY - It involves imaginative fiction having a fictional universe, mythological character, and magical environment.
HISTORICAL FILM - This type of fiction involves historical characters, situations, and events.
SCIENCE - It involves science stories, experiments, space travels, etc.
MYSTERY - This genre involves crime, mysterious circumstances, or puzzling situations.
ROMANCE - This genre involves romantic situations, events, characters,
and relationships.
GRAPHIC NOVELS - This modern genre involves stories involving graphic images and pictures with them.
PARABLE - a short tale used for teaching a lesson.
FABLES - a short tale used for teaching a lesson which uses animals, objects, or nature.
FOLK TALES - a stories or legends that are about or from a culture or group of people (folk).
FAIRY TALES - stories that include supernatural creatures such as fairies or magicians.
EPIC POEM- a narrative that involves conflict on a broad scale with humans of special stature or ability fighting a battle.
MYTH - a traditional story which explains the world and existence of humans usually as part of a cluster of such stories and which reflects a religious belief system.
NOVEL - a longer piece of fiction characterized by more plot and character development than a short story.
HORROR - includes paranormal beyond knowledge that evokes a strong feelings of shock, terror, revulsion, fear, or outrage.
SHORT STORY - a short story from a paragraph to a page or so in length.
MEMOIR - tell a story of the writer’s own life which are driven by narrative, and often connect the writer’s personal story to larger human themes, such as grief, family, and youth.
