Step 1
Carefully measure out
40cm
*3 of
sulphuric acid
(can be
hydrochloric
) into measuring cylinder then pour into beaker

To speed up the reaction place beaker on a
blue flame
for about
30 seconds
Step 3
Add
copper oxide
until excess into beaker to make sure all the
acid
is neutralised
Step 4
Remove
untreated
copper oxide
in the
beaker
by filtering it.
Step 5
Pour the
filtered solution
into an
evaporating basin
and heat it to get the water out
Step 6
Heat it over a
beaker
of water
Step 7
After
heating
the basin for
10
minutes take it off and you should be left with dry
copper sulphate
crystals
