• what is the primary caregiver?

  the person who is most responsible for an infant's health, development & wellbeing
• why is this a debate in psychology?

  • ethically sensitive debate
  • we live in society that promotes equality & opportunity regardless of gender
  • however, if evidence suggests mother is best pcg of infant - this will be dilemma
