    • epicondylitis
    • tendonitis
    • stress fracture
    • shin splints
  • stress fractures
    tiny cracks in a bone caused by repetitive force - high jump requires repeated powerful contractions, overtime this constant impact can result in stress fractures in the bones of the feet
  • epicondylitis
    painful condition that occurs when tendons are overloaded, usually by repetitive motions of the wrist and arm - tennis elbow and golfers elbow are the most common form of epicondylitis
  • tendonitis
    inflamed tendon at the achilles, patellar or rotator cuff - repetitive powerful impact can result in tendonitis - common in long jump
  • shin splints 

    shin pain as a result of running on hard surfaces - often caused by imbalance in the muscles of the lower leg - marathon runners often suffer from this injury
