chromosomal error

• • Dna to be exchanged during synapsis may be inverted before inserted onto arm of a corresponding chromatid
• • Chromosomes may break and if followed by duplication of chromosomes, 2 chromatids that fuse may now have 2 centromeres. When pulled apart in anaphase, chromatid will have duplication and one will have deletion
• • Chromosomal changes may be brought about by exposure to mutagens during meiosis.
