• A pH value is a numerical value used to indicate how acidic or alkaline a solution is. It runs from 0-14
• A pH of 7 is neutral and is green
• A pH value of less than 7 is acidic, with strongly acids being red and weaker acid being yellow-green
• A pH of more than 7 is alkaline, with strong alkaline being purple and weak alkaline being green-blue
