Types of computers

• Computers designed to be used by individuals to help in work or learning are call Personal Computers
• The most powerful computers that are built to process vast amounts of data at very high speeds are called Supercomputer
• Mainframe Computers: Large, powerful computers that are used by large organizations. E.g.. Amazon
• Embedded Systems are used in a wide variety of applications such as: Automobiles, Medical Devices, and Home Appliances
• An Operating System manages all the resources of a computer and provides common services for running application software
