Classification of hadith

• • It is to differentiate between Divine inspiration and the Prophetic sayings.
  • It is to clarify the hadith, according to its rank and degree.
• There are two major classes of the Ahadith:

  1. Hadith Qudsi – (Statements of Allah told by the Holy Prophet ﷺ)
  2. Hadith Nabawi – (Statements of the Holy Prophet ﷺ)
