  To get accurate information about what is happening around us
• What does it mean to collect samples?

  To bring in living or non-living things into the lab to look at them more closely 
• What does it mean to Classify?

  To put things into groups according to their similarities
• Science can be divided into 2 main categories: Social Science and Natural Science
• What is social science?

  Deals with the social life of people or groups
• What is natural science?

  Deals with the physical and biological world around us
