• Muslim aid is an organisation that works to relieve poverty and seeks to secure justice for the poor and oppressed. It has campaigned for rich nations to be more generous in giving to the poor.

• Hadd punishments are punishments fixed in the Quran for crimes considered to be against the rights of Allah. Theft is met with amputation. Adultery is met with death by stoning
