    PROS:
    • replaces sugar in food
    • pass through body undigested
    CONS:
    • aftertaste
    • lack bulk, doesn't melt the same as sugar, cakes can be very dense, dry and lumpy.

    • absorbed directly into the bloodstream during digestion
