    • Measure of central tendency- measure of the average value in a data set including mean, median and mode.
    • Measure of dispersion- any measure of the spread in a set of scores.
    • Standard deviation- how spread the data is from the mean
    • Range- difference between highest and lowest score
    • Mode- most frequent score
    • Median- middle point of a distribution
    • Mean- sum of all values divided by number of observations
    • Graphs- Bar chart, Histogram and scattergraph
    • Scatter graph- shows relationship between two variables
    • Bar charts- used to show frequency or percentage distributions
    • Histogram- bar chart with continuous variable on x axis
    • Normal distribution - the mean median and mode all occupy the same midpoint of the curve
    • Negative distribution- The long tail is on the left side of the peak and distribution concentrated on the right
    • Positive distribution- The long tail is on the right side of the peak and distribution concentrated on the left
