  • What is the difference between a aim and a hypothesis?
    A aim is a general statement describing the purpose of the investigation. A hypothesis is a statement about the relationship between 2 variables (prediction).

  • What is the difference between a one tailed directional hypothesis and a two tailed non directional hypothesis?
    A directional hypothesis states the type of relationship but a non directional hypothesis states there will be a relationship but not what type.

    A hypothesis that states there will be no relationship between variables.
