  • Both positive and negative numbers can be added, subtracted, multiplied and divided using rules.

  • The number five million, seven hundred and twenty-two thousand, six hundred and eight is 5,722,608 in figures.
  • Putting a comma after every three digits from the right breaks the number up, making it easier to say or write.
