  • How does the process of imitation and role model socialise children in the family 

    Children will copy the behaviour of family behaviours (imitation),family members become role models and are copied by children who learn and showcase the social roles from adults surrounding them.They will also imitate specific behaviours carried out by family members.
  • How does the process of Sanctions (positive and negative) in family socialise children?

    Social control occurs when children are sanctioned through praise or punishment eg grounded for breaking rules or rewarded for success in school
  • How does the process of Socialisation of Adults-socialise adults in the family

    Adults pass on expectations to their partners and encourage them to fit in to socially expected patterns of behaviour
