Reproduction in animals

• Two types of reproduction, asexual and sexual, are found among the animals.
• Asexual reproduction does not involve gametes (sex cells) and is found among the animals.
• In sexual reproduction, gametes from male and female combine to form an embryo which then grows into a young organism.
