  • Belief and Knowledge: A set off convictions, values and views regarded as "the truth" and shared by members of a social group
  • Change: The alteration or modification of cultural or social elements in a society
  • Culture: Shared customs and values within a group of people
  • Identity: An individual's private and personal view of the self; also how a person is viewed from the perspective of a social group
  • Materiality: Objects, resources and belongings have cultural meaning, e.g. defining yourself or others by what you own/have
  • Power: One person or group's ability to influence, control or manipulate another
  • Social Relations: Any relationship between two or more individuals. They pervade every aspect of human life and are extensive. complex and diverse
  • Society: The way in which humans organise themselves in groups and networks. Society is created and sustained through relationships and institutions.
  • Symbolism: The significance that people attach to objects, actions and processes; symbols construct a cultural web of meaning.
