Definitions

• Define Death

  The end of physical life, when the body completely ceases to function. ​
• Define Eternal Life

  Life in heaven after death. Also what Jesus says people have when they live this life as God intends.​
• Define Heaven

  Those who accept God’s love and forgiveness and enjoy the closeness of His presence for all eternity.​
• Define Hell

  Those who reject God’s goodness, and forgiveness. The total lack of God for all eternity. Separation from God.​
• Define Judgement

  The belief that each individual is held accountable to God for the way they lived their life.
• Define Magisterium

  The teaching authority of the Church, including bishops, Popes, Saints and important Christian thinkers.​
• Define Resurrection

  The raising of the body to life again, after death, into a different kind of bodily existence.
• Define Soul

  The eternal part of a human being, given at conception. It lives on after death of the body.
