  • Rich man ignores Lazarus, a poor man who lives at his gate.
  • Lazarus dies and is taken to heaven, rich man dies too but goes to hell.
  • Reason as we are judged by how we behave in life
• Summarise Matthew 18 – Parable of the unforgiving servant


  • A man owes money to a king and begs for mercy to avoid prison.
  • The king forgives his debt and grants him freedom.
  • The man then demands repayment from someone who owes him money but does not show the same mercy.
  • When the king hears of this, he throws the man in jail until his debt is repaid.
  • Jesus teaches that God will treat people the same way if they do not forgive others.
