Everyday teachings of the church e.g: teachings of the Bible, encyclicals from the Pope
What are the 2 types of the Extraordinary Magisterium?
Pontifical + Conciliar
What do Extraordinary Pontifical Magisterium discuss?
The Pope speaks Ex Cathedra (his final say) on a certain topic such as teachings of the Immaculate Conception.
What do Extraordinary Conciliar Magisterium discuss?
The Pope summons the bishops to discuss and reach a judgement on something (like Council of Nicea)
