    • "It is an honour that I dream not of."
      Juliet hasn't dreamed of the possibility of being married. However, this is a lie as she is being meticulous to hide this from her mother, which is why she calls it an 'honour' as it is something she deeply fears because of the patriarchal society in which her father will choose the person she is going to marry. Juliet doesn't want the massive age gap that her parents have. She wants to be able to escape this patriarchal arrangement by telling Romeo when they meet to make a plan to get them married, for herself with someone she chooses.
