  • Another German migrant, Paul Reuter had a big impact, who was he and what did he do?
    Reuter created a telegraph system between Belgium and Germany. He then moved to Britain in 1851 to set up Reuters News Agency which was important as it was the first to report accurately on international stories. In fact, almost every news outlet in the world subscribes to Reuters
