  • Standby: Enable power-saving mode to consume less power.
  • Hibernate: Save state of memory (RAM) to the HDD to use less power than Sleep.
  • Hibernate: Longer to resume from hibernate than Sleep.
  • Sleep: No boot time wait, state saved in memory, and enters a low-power state.
  • Laptop: Choose what closing the lid does.
  • Turn on fast startup.
  • USB selective suspend setting shuts off unused USB devices when power is low.
  • Hibernate: Turns the computer off. (In the context of power options)
