• Embryo - immature plant in which anew plant will grow

  • Cotyledon - seed leaf
  • Epicotyl/Plumule - shoot apex above the attachment of cotyledon
  • Hypocotyl - connects the radicle to the cotyledon
• Endosperm - nutritive tissue that feeds the embryo
• Seed Coat - outer covering of the seed
