• MOA- Naproxen

  Non-selectively inhibits COx-1 & COX-2 -> decrease prostaglandin synthesis

  COX-1 -> GIT ulceration, adverse renal effects

  COX-2 -> Anti-inflammatory, anti-pyretic, analgesic

  Rheumatoid arthritis

  Acute gout

  Pain in MSK disorders
• What are the side effects of naproxen?

  GI discomfort

  Nausea
