    • Phineas Gage, was a railway worker who on the 13th September 1848 had a 3ft 7in rod blown through his fronatal lobe, he survived, he was now impulsive after being described as kind before the accedent, this helped psychologists to work out that the frontal lobe controls our personality
    • neuroplasticity is where the brain can repair itself
    • frontal lobe controls voluntary movement, speech, and emotions, if damaged it can effect personality and make people impulsive
    • the parental lobe is the part of the brain that controls the reciving and processing of sensery imput
    • the oxipital lobe controls the eyes and vision
    • the temparel lobe controls memory
