• Why do people pray?

  P= Petition: Asking God to help you

  I= Intercession: Asking God to help others / Ask other Saints

  R= Repentance: Asking for forgiveness

  A= Adoration : Showing love to God

  T= Thanksgiving: Thanking God
• 2 types of prayer:

  • Formulaic ( Hail Mary or Our Father )
  • Extempore ( A conversation of with God )
