• What is a moment?

  A moment is a turning effect produced by a force acting on an object.
• How can a moment be calculated?

  Moment = Force * Distance
• Anticlockwise moment =

  Clockwise moment
• What do levers do?

  Increase distance from pivot so less work is done
• What do gears do?

  Their teeth interlock so that turning one causes the other to turn in the opposite direction
• The larger gear will turn....than the smaller gear

  Slower
