• Sessions - similar to a semester, there are two every term
• Caucuses - private meetings of parties
• President Pro Tempore - resides over the senate in the absence of the Present of the Senate (VP)
• Whip - the person who gathers their party for a vote
• Speaker of the House - the leader of the House of Representatives
