• Appropriation Bill - a bill that decides how money will be spent
• Act - a law
• Filibuster - a delay in voting (a.k.a. talking a bill to death, only in the Senate)
• Cloture - the limit on the debate of a bill
• Veto rejection of a bill by the president
• Pocket Veto - when the President does not sign or veto the bill within ten days while Congress is in a recess
