    • She has a powerful voice and she uses it to imperative Nell. When she says to Nell "take my share" "take it or leave it"
    • There is irony when she states the reason she is there is to bless the board and bed when she didn't. We can interpret the description of her that she came to curse the wedding / ruin it. Ruin the feelings between Nell and Thomas
    • We can interpret that she is being sarcastic when she refers to the new bride as "My Lady Nell". Which, is her new acquired title because she married a lord
