Define introduction
Introduction – Starts off broad, then to narrow. Description of previous research. Ends with hypothesis.
Define method
Method – What they did, method, procedure, materials, experimental design, details of sampling. Where they did it. Has to be replicable for other scientists.
Define results
Results – Statical analysis, graphs, tables, means SD, all data
Define discussion
Discussion – Write up of the data, explanations, link to theory, self-evaluation (issues they had), suggestion for future research.
Define referencing
Referencing - Surname, initial (year). Where published. Who was it published by. The point is to give credit, avoid plagiarism. Be direct to relevant material.
