Proteins

• Protein's Monomer: amino acids; Polymer: Polypeptides
• The secondary step for proteins (folding of amino acids) is due to the hydrogen bonds
• Proteins have 4 levels of structure:

  1. Primary Structure - sequencing of them by the order it goes
  2. Secondary Structure - The folding pattern of amino acids
  3. Tertiary Structure - folding into a 3-D shape because of side chains
  4. Quaternary Structure - 2+ Amino Acids interacting and combining with eachother
