  To transport urine from the bladder to the outside of the body.

  Transport urine from the kidneys to the bladder.

  Storage of urine before release

• the pelvis is the middle lighter section of the kidney

  Outer layer of the kidney. this is the dark red section of the kidney

  the light red section. contains loop of henle of nethrons.
• what is the pyramid of the kidney?

  a collection of tubules, collecting ducts and blood vessels.
